Mass Premier AAU Success! __________________________________________________ Mass Premier Thunder U12 Girl’s
Division 1 team gets chance to travel to AAU National Championship in
Kingsport, TN. On May 17th the Lady Thunder went three games to get to
the Championship of the Super Regional Tournament at Mass Premier. Playing all
the way to the buzzer in every game, some games as close as a point, giving
them a spot in the National Championship. The team members include Lily Abarbanel - Sharon, Jamie Ballou

O’Driscoll - Sharon, Jessica Potts- Franklin
and Kelsey Santello- Franklin they are coached by
Pamela Alberta and Lisa Cornell. The team will continue playing in tournaments
during June and travel south to Tennessee on July 2nd! 2008 Spring AAU Highlights 16U Boys – Coach Gordy The 16U Boys had another terrific season led by Coach Ryan Gordy. The team finished with a 33-9 record overall including finishing first in New Englands. The team won five out of the nine tournaments they competed in. The team wrapped their season up with a great 3rd place finish at the Division II Nationals. Read more here  15U Girls – Coach Bliss The 15U Girls followed up on their previous season’s success this year. The team was the Division 1 MA state champions. The also won the New England Super Regionals. The team was quite successful in other large tournaments including: semi-finalist at the Gym Rat Challenge, undefeated at the Nike Summer Slam, and 4-1 at the US Junior Nationals. The team finished the season with a 44-3 overall record.  11U Girls – Coach Mulcahy Our 11U Girls had a great season in their first season together. The team finished 1st in the MA State tournament. This assured the girls their first trip to Nationals.  Congratulations to Mass Premier Courts 11U Girls on a terrific season. The girls finished the season with a 23-9 record overall. The girls won three tournaments throughout the season including Mass Premier Courts Mayhem tournament. The girls had success throughout the season while they played against some of the State's best 11U teams and many 12U teams.  Mass Premier Courts 10U Boys had a terrific season!  Mass Premier Courts 15U AAU team has continued their strong season and career together by finishing 1st in the 2007 New England Championships. The team will be traveling to Little Rock, AR this summer for their third consecutive trip to Nationals. On top of both of those impressive accomplishments the team won their pool at the Gym Rat Challenge in Albany, NY and competed in the Championship Round. Both Matt Palazini and Mike Adams were all tournament teams honorable mentions to the All-Tournament team at the Gym Rat Challenge. The girls just missed repeating as state champions after losing the championship game which they once led. Congratulations on a successful weekend!  The Mass Premier Courts 14U Boys are the 2007 Division 2 State Champions. The boys defeated the 2006 Super Regional Champion Middlesex Magic and continued on a great run to win 4 of their last 5 games including a 23 point win in the championship game.  The 14U Boys have continued their successful season by winning the silver medal at the 2007 New England Championships.   2006 13U Boys: Overall Record of 33-6 Won 7 out of 10 tournaments entered Gold medal @ New England Championships Qualified for the Champion Bracket at the Div.
